Day 1 : Cusco – Cachora – Playa Rosalinda – Santa Rosa
Very early in the morning around 4:00 a.m. we will leave Cusco in direction of Cachora where we will arrive around 7:30. Cachora is the place where we will initiate our expedition. After a good breakfast we will organize all the equipment on mules and horses, while admiting the view on the majestic snow-caped Padrayoc (5482 m).
Our first walk will be of about 21 km of distance. On the way we will observe glaciers of Padrayoc and Wayna Cachora, observing the pleasant variation of landscapes from precipices to snow-caped mountains.
We will stop for lunch in a place called Playa Rosalinda around 1:00 p.m.
We will continue our way and we will marvel ourselves at the presence of the Apurimac canyon and its impressive depth, and finally we will arrive at Santa Rosa, where we will install our night camp.
This long walk will take 10 hours, and we will pass through the following points: La Colmena (2870 m), La Aguada (2915 m), Capuliyoc (2915 m) point from which we can see the impressive Apurimac valley, Huayhuacalle (2970 m), Tinajayoc (2630 m), Mirador (2370 m), Cocamasana (2330 m), Torowisqana (2285 m), Chiquisqa (1950 m) kind of forest where we can find water, Playa Rosalinda (1550 m), La Huerta (2705 m) and finally we will arrive at Santa Rosa (2115 m).

Day 2 : Choquequirao – Raqaypata
Early in the morning (5:00 a.m.) after the breakfast, we will continue our long walk in ascent until Choquequirao. We are going to arrive at the archaeological site after 5 hours.
Time to enjoy the majestic place. We will observe three levels of excavated ruins where we can appreciate houses, terraces and other places of this late inca citadel, as well as the ruins in excavation process and finally unexplored areas that can tell us about this last refuge of the empire of the Incas. Approximately at 3 p.m. (depending on the climate), we will be able to appreciate "the flight of the Condors".
Choquequirao is considered as "the Last Refuge of the Empire of the Incas". The last reports assign JUAN ARIAS DIAZ as one of the first people who explored the area in 1710.
Our bilingual guide will explain us the history and the importance of this place after the Spaniards arrived at Peru. We will have our lunch and dinner in Raqaypata (2910 m).

Day 3 : Raqaypata – Chiquisqa
After the breakfast we will walk towards Chiquisqa. On the way we can observe the Apurimac Canyon. Here we could have luck and observe the "Flight of the Condors", the exuberante vegetation and the variety of flowers and orchards.
The time of walk is approximately of 10 h. Altitud : 3033-1950 m. Passing through the same points that in the ascent way. We will stop in Playa Rosalinda where we will have lunch and later we will continue towards Chiquisqa. Here we will spend the night in our camp.

Day 4 : Chiquisqa – Cachora – Cusco
Early in the morning, after the breakfast (5:00 a.m.), we will continue until arriving at the city of Cachora. During the walk we will be able to appreciate once again the majestic snow-white Padrayoc that decorates the Apurimac canyon.
The walking time to Cachora is of approximately 7 hours. On our return trip to Cusco we will make a stop in Cconoc where we will enjoy natural thermal waters and baths. We will also visit natural product manufacturers in the area. We will arrive at Cusco approximately at 10 p.m.
